Selected cultural projects of high quality
The Foundation made its first awards to the cultural field in 2011, when it supported Leif Ove Andsnes and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra’s Beethoven project, Bergen International Festival, and Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra on the occasion of its 250th anniversary. These three large projects with high artistic potential were selected because they complemented each other.
The Foundation’s cultural focus has since been expanded to include several other projects that also complement each other and stimulate cooperation, both locally and internationally.
The Foundation contacts potential partners and initiates collaboration based on a match between its own and the partners’ priorities.

Rosendal Chamber Music Festival
The festival gives outstanding young Norwegian musicians an opportunity to play together with famous international performers. The Baroniet Rosendal is the perfect setting for such meetings.
Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra (BFO)
