Kick-off K.G. Jebsen-center for obesity research (CORA)

Professor Yvonne Böttcher from the University of Oslo (UiO) heads the K.G. Jebsen Centre for Obesity Research (CORA) – a new research centre dedicated to translational research into obesity. Together with a team of national and international experts, she will investigate the mechanisms that contribute to weight regain following successful weight loss.

Kick off for K.G. Jebsen-center for specific autoimmun therapy

On Friday, June 12, the K.G. Jebsen Centre for Specific Autoimmune Therapy was opened. The centre is led by Ludvig M. Sollid, a professor at the University of Oslo and a senior consultant at Oslo University Hospital.

Three new K.G. Jebsen Centres receive NOK 75 million for research on obesity, cancer and autoimmune diseases

Stiftelsen Kristian Gerhard Jebsen is awarding three new medical research centres NOK 25 million each. The funding will strengthen research on obesity, cancer, and autoimmune diseases. Two of the centres will be established at the University of Oslo and one at the University of Bergen.

New Leader of the K.G. Jebsen Academy for Young Researchers

Brooke Wolford has been appointed the new leader of the Academy, succeeding former leader Svein Støve. Wolford also received the award for Best Publication at this year’s autumn gathering of the SKGJ medical centers.
