The Foundation contacts potential partners itself. This applies to all kinds of projects. In this way, the Foundation’s funds can be put to effective use in projects that are in line with the foundation’s objectives and our partners’ strategies and priorities.

23. March 2018 K.G. Jebsen center publishes in one of the world’s most renowned medical journals
On March 22, 2018, a review article by Professor Eystein Husebye, head of K.G. Jebsen Center for Autoimmune Disorders, was published in New England Journal of Medicine.
Rosendal Chamber Music Festival 2018
From 9 – 12 August 2018 the Rosendal Chamber Music Festival, founded by pianist Leif Ove Andsnes, will take place for the third time, with a focus on music in the shadow of the Great War.

Since its inception, the Foundation has established 26 KG Jebsen centres for medical research in collaboration with Norwegian universities and university hospitals
The Foundation is active in the maritime and marine field and has so far established two different research centres: the K.G. Jebsen Centre for the Law of the Sea and the K.G. Jebsen Centre for Deep Sea Research.
It is also part of the Foundation’s objective to contribute to social initiatives that promote the development of society and help to protect the environment.
