K.G. Jebsen Center for Exercise in Medicine
CERG (Cardiac Exercise Research Group) is an interdisciplinary group consisting of both experienced researchers and young, promising research talents at NTNU and St. Olavs Hospital in Trondheim. The goal of the centre is to identify key cellular and molecular mechanisms that are behind the favourable effects physical exercise has on the heart, veins and skeletal muscle.
We aim to define optimal exercise programs for “most people” in order to increase the likelihood of development and preservation of good health throughout life.
