Kick off for K.G. Jebsen-center for specific autoimmun therapy

On Friday, June 12, the K.G. Jebsen Centre for Specific Autoimmune Therapy was inaugurated in Oslo. The primary goal of the K.G. Jebsen Centre for Specific Autoimmune Therapy is to establish approaches that enable the specific reduction of disease-causing B cells—cells that produce antibodies against the body’s own proteins or intracellular molecules. The centre is led by Ludvig M. Sollid, a professor at the University of Oslo (UiO) and a senior consultant at Oslo University Hospital (OUS). Sollid is the first person to establish a second K.G. Jebsen Centre.
